Anybody have any luck getting them to goodwill these screens out of warranty? I work in the automotive service industry and know manufacturer goodwill is not uncommon at all, especially on common issues.Ībsolutely blown away by the lack of customer service (although, not sure I should be. ![]() I called Jeep “customer care” (they don’t really seem to care) to see if there was some kind of warranty extension on this component due to the commonality of this issue, but apparently that’s not something FCA has elected to do yet. However, it started causing issues around late January of this year. When we purchased the vehicle, the touchscreen was delaminating, but wasn’t causing phantom touch issues yet, so we let it ride for a bit. ![]() The car had just over 36,000 miles on it when we bought it, and the warranty had expired in February of 2021. So, my wife and I bought a 2018 Grand Cherokee with the uConnect touchscreen back in December. ![]()
